Hello Folks: Welcome to the Who is Keith Weir website. Well I guess the best place to start is to tell you a little bit about myself. Obviously my name is Keith Weir and have been on this planet for forty-eight and one half years. Thats right for (48 1/2) years. Amazing how time flies when your having fun. I am a fortunate man to have a family that loves me as deeply as my family does. My family consists of my brilliant wife (Karen) who is a self taught web genius, who can develop/design and promote any concept you wish to put on the internet. My children are fantastic starting with my youngest daughter (Kiley) seven (7) years old, who is so crafty and artistic she can make a puppet theater out of a toilet paper roll. Next in line is my almost nine year old son (Kory) who has an incredible mind. Once he sets his mind to something there is no stopping him, he will likely be the inventor of the home robot/pancake maker. Now we jump ahead a few years to my next oldest, (Maria) who is twenty-two (22) years old and has just completed her nursing diploma and has taken a job at hospital in Northern Alberta. To complete the wide range of ages of my children is twenty-six year (26) old Kristy who lives in the same community as we do and has just resently bought her own home.
Enough with them, what about me you ask. I am an aultruistic individual that all people love and adore. What is most important to know about me is that I have had the opportunity to have worked on both sides of the fence with regards to having been both a white collar worker and a blue collar worker. Most recently, for the last 18 years I have been a Child Protection Social Worker for the Government of Alberta, Canada. Prior to that I worked in the construction trades as a Steamfitter/Pipefitter and truck driver. Therefore I believe I can relate/identify with most of the people I come into contact with.
At present my passion and focus is on learning about and trying to slowdown global warming and protect the environment. I am also a home based businessman that happened upon a business out of necessity to find a way to improve my son's (Kory's) asthma problem. Actually, I can't take credit for finding the space age technological air purification system that has improved my sons' breathing and sleeping. It was Karen's devotion to finding a better mouse trap after we had tried all the other air filters on the market. Long story short... we found EcoQuest International. Karen and I are now full time internet marketers, and Executive Parents to our children. It is a life most people dream of. Working from home, setting your own hours, and most important, being here for our kids. It is very liberating to be in complete control of your life!
